Music Theory Class, Rhythm and Ear Training
Our group lessons are focused on building strong musical foundations through basic music theory, rhythm, and listening skills. Designed for students learning any instrument.
Basic Music Theory Classes
Our lessons include structured music theory for beginners, helping students understand how music is read, written, and applied in real playing situations. We cover basic music theory such as rhythm, notes, scales, and musical structure in a clear way.
Our lessons also align with the RCM Music Theory Syllabus and support students working through Royal Conservatory of Music Theory material.
Ear Training & Listening Skills
We also offer ear training classes focused on developing a stronger musical ear.
Students learn to recognize pitch, rhythm, and patterns through guided listening exercises that improve musical awareness and confidence.
Focus areas include:
Pitch and interval recognition
Rhythm identification
Musical memory development
Rhythm Training & Timing Skills
Rhythm training classes are also available for students who want to improve timing and coordination. These sessions focus on steady pulse, counting, and rhythmic accuracy to build confidence in both solo and group playing.
Classes are taught in a small group format with guided practice.
